I’ve had this image in my head for a few months now ever since I first saw Dave Freeze’s cabin and decided it was time to get back into 3ds Max. I have used this project as a test to integrate Megascans and Forest Pro into my workflow. I’ve not created any scenes for a long time now so the rust had built up quite a bit; however I am happy to have managed to fit this in between my essay and studio work over my week off. One thing this project has taught me is that I must learn Zbrush! Displacement materials can only go so far and it was frustrating that I couldn’t get the beaten up concrete form I wanted.
